Saturday is the last day of this year, and Sunday marks the start of the new year, January 1st in the Gregorian calendar.
The original plan was to celebrate on Saturday night, to welcome the New Year together at midnight.
However, because Huo Feng had to attend rehearsal at 6:00 AM on Sunday, everyone decided to cancel the plan to celebrate New Year's Eve together so that he could rest well.
Because of the Musical Club, Huo Feng missed out on so many supposedly exciting experiences; there's still a bit of regret.
Huo Feng initially thought of staying up with them tonight and then waking up early for rehearsal the next day. He didn't mind losing a few hours of sleep, thinking it wouldn't be a big deal.
But neither Yan Siyuan, Ye Qingcao, nor even Sangzhi agreed to let him do so.
It's just a minor New Year, after all, not a big deal.
It was those three who urged Huo Feng to return to the dormitory to rest early, and so he obliged.
