Just like that, they kept waiting until the holiday started. Gu Hai and Fang Yue originally thought that by now, Gu Mingcheng would surely have cooled off and come home, but after several days, there wasn't even a shadow of Gu Mingcheng.
Gu Hai and Fang Yue went to the school to inquire and heard that Gu Mingcheng had left as soon as the holiday started. That's when the couple really started to panic. After searching around, they wondered if Gu Mingcheng might have gone to look for Xu Nianhua.
And so, that led to today's scene.
"No, Gu Mingcheng hasn't been to our house." Xu Nianhua blocked the front of the wardrobe, not letting them search, and said in a low voice, "If you keep rifling through things, I'm calling the police. You're trespassing in someone else's home."
