"Good boy, have a drumstick." Pei Yining rewarded him with a big chicken leg.
"Thank you, sis."
Pei Yijian spoke sensibly, holding the chicken leg and munching it joyfully. Just now, he thought he saw his brother looking at him with approval?
Pei Yijian was delighted. Even though he didn't understand their conversation, as long as he stayed near Pei Yicheng, he felt happy. After dinner, everyone played a game where you had to clap instead of speak if a number was seven or a multiple of seven.
The game was pretty simple; Pei Yijian was eager to join in. Numbers below a hundred weren't a problem for him, but once they went beyond that, Pei Yijian started to get confused.
But every time Pei Yijian was about to give up, his brother Pei Yicheng would make a mistake—either forgetting to clap or saying the wrong number.
