"Your brother is busy, let's not bother him to pick us up." Xu Nianhua, remembering Pei Yicheng nearly confessing his feelings last time, instinctively wanted to dodge.
"The bus station is just ahead, let's go over and wait for the bus. It'll save your brother the trouble."
Seeing the bus station right in front of them, Xu Nianhua grabbed Pei Yining and headed forward.
"Nianhua, it seems like you're avoiding my brother, spill it—did something happen between you two that I don't know about?" Pei Yining's face was full of gossip as she pulled Xu Nianhua to a stop on the sidewalk, cars streaming by next to them.
"No."
Xu Nianhua denied it immediately, saying, "I just don't want to bother your brother too much. He has to focus on his classes, and also takes care of things at the factory—it's too much hassle for him."
