On the twenty-eighth day of the twelfth lunar month, early in the morning, Xu Zhiyuan came over.
"Uncle, Auntie, Grandpa said our family is celebrating New Year today, he wants me to call you all to come home tonight for dinner." Over the past half year, Xu Zhiyuan had been thoroughly crushed by Xu Nianhua.
He used to think that Xu Nianhua was just a little bit better than him.
But during this half year repeating his studies, Xu Zhiyuan discovered that Xu Nianhua's grades were not just a little better, they were so good he couldn't even catch up riding the bus!
Xu Zhiyuan was now putting more focus on his studies too. Even if his grades couldn't catch up to Xu Nianhua's, at least he wanted to improve a bit and close the gap between them!
"Alright."
Ji Ying didn't hesitate, agreeing right away. Even though the families were split, Xu Qinghe was still Xu Zhong's son. Eating a meal together for New Year was only right.
