He reached out and took a tissue from the bedside table, gently wiping away the little one's tears, softly coaxing him.
"Who just cried?"
"Which little crybaby was crying?"
As if knowing Jun Moyan was talking to him, the little one drinking his milk responded with a couple of nasal "hums," sounding adorably aggrieved after his tears.
"Was it An'an?"
"Was An'an the one who cried?" Jun Moyan smiled as he talked to him, loving the sound of his small whines.
The little one held the bottle with his two fair, tender hands, staring at Jun Moyan with eyes as round as glass without a blink.
"Is it tasty?"
"Mommy likes drinking it too."
"Mommy, just like An'an, loves to drink."
Jun Moyan fed him milk while keeping him company through conversation.
Typically quiet and reserved, he found himself talking endlessly to the little guy who couldn't speak yet, thoroughly enjoying it.
