Early in the morning, as Jin Meng stepped in, she noticed the room felt very cold. The office relied on central air conditioning to control the temperature; usually, wearing just a single layer wasn't chilly, but today, even bundled in a coat, she was shivering. It was only when she reached the windows that she realized all of them were open, letting the cold wind gust in from outside, no wonder it felt so chilly.
"Did you open the windows?" She asked the intern wrapped in a down coat who walked in carrying coffee.
"Yeah, I did." The intern immediately nodded, "I thought the paint smell in here was quite strong, so I figured I'd open the windows for some ventilation."
"What season are we in? Opening the windows will freeze us to death." Jin Meng said, reaching out to shut the windows one by one.
