"But I was just in time for high school entrance exams, studying every day till dawn, with so much pressure that I couldn't eat, didn't gain an ounce, actually lost weight." He had a somewhat smug expression when he said this.
"You were that intense about getting into high school?" Xia Lu asked curiously, "I thought people like you would definitely go to private schools, not needing to compete with others for the precious few slots in key high schools. That's pretty unfair to others, isn't it?"
