Zhou Xinyao returned upstairs and knocked on the door of her father's office.
"Dad, with such a commotion downstairs, aren't you going to take a look?"
"What happened?" Zhou Jingxian looked up at her and asked.
"There's a problem with the old city renovation project team, and now there are relocated residents protesting, demanding to be moved back to their original location. But they've all signed agreements before, so this can't be changed. Right now, security is spraying them with water cannons."
Zhou Xinyao had just been standing downstairs watching for a while, and felt that this couldn't go on. The protesters were very stubborn, and even with the high-pressure water jets, they didn't seem ready to leave, with several already drenched through and through.
"The old city renovation is a project led by Zhang Jiunian; he should handle it," Zhou Jingxian said calmly, still focusing on the documents in his hands.
