Zhou Mingchen emerged from the bathroom and found that Xia Lu was still clutching her phone, unwilling to let go. She was not usually fond of playing games, and other than using it as a communication tool, her phone barely served any other purpose. Recently, however, she had always been like this.
Xia Lu stared at the screen, which clearly displayed the situation at the front gate of her home.
The surveillance had been installed several days ago, yet the person she expected hadn't shown up again. She had thought for sure that the person would come back, but now it seemed that might not be the case, indicating that the surveillance might end up being installed for nothing.
Noticing Zhou Mingchen approaching, she immediately turned off her phone and set it aside.
"What were you looking at?" Zhou Mingchen asked, toweling his hair dry as he spoke.
"Nothing..." Xia Lu said, though her eyes betrayed her. She was still not good at lying.
"Can't you show me?"
