He paid the bill, then opened the car door and got out.
The weather was a bit chilly, and Su Jia wasn't wearing much. Watching her shiver, Lu Yanhe finally took off his jacket and draped it over her.
They walked side by side to the elevator; once the doors opened, they went in one after the other.
Inside, neither of them spoke.
Su Jia looked at his indifference and couldn't help feeling a bit annoyed, thinking she shouldn't have woken up so soon.
"Your new apartment?" She broke the silence first, but couldn't completely hide the awkwardness.
Lu Yanhe only replied with one word, "Yes."
"The land price here must be quite high, right?"
His reaction was still very cold, "Yes."
Su Jia tangled her fingers together, unsure of what to say.
When the elevator stopped, he didn't care about the people behind him, stepping out first.
After a few steps without hearing anything behind him, he stopped again.
