Walking out of the hospital entrance, Su Jia raised her wrist to check the time, "I have something to do this afternoon, so I'll be heading back first."
"Alright, go about your work." Gu Nanqiao waved her hand, but just as she finished speaking, her phone started ringing.
She swiped to answer the call, and the person on the other end gave a soft cough, as if trying to cover up their awkwardness, "It's me."
Gu Nanqiao was surprised to hear his voice, "Lu Yanhe?"
Upon hearing "Lu Yanhe," Su Jia's face immediately darkened.
"Yeah..." His tone carried a hint of unease, "Where are you?"
Gu Nanqiao replied, "Hospital, what's up?"
"It's nothing, just wanted to ask, Su Jia..." Lu Yanhe paused before continuing, "Are you free tonight?"
The phone had a slight echo, and although his voice wasn't loud, Su Jia could still hear it clearly.
Gu Nanqiao gave a suspicious glance at Su Jia, and asked with a meaningful tone, "You asking if she's free for what?"
