"Strange, Jinjin isn't joining us for lunch?" Arthur looked thoughtfully in that direction. "Did she make plans with someone, do you know?"
Jinjin doesn't like getting too close to others, partly because of her identity and partly for safety reasons.
The most important reason is that when Yue Siqing is around, she usually cancels all her other friends' invitations.
But now, she and Yue Siqing have just returned, and she's immediately arranged to meet someone else.
This really isn't her usual behavior; even if they quarrel, she should just lock herself in her room.
"Drive." Yue Siqing's face was gloomy. "I'll pick her up later."
Arthur instructed the driver to start the car, contemplating for a moment, "Did something happen in Harbor City?"
The possibility is high, but Arthur knows this isn't the main reason.
Jinjin seemed off even before going to Harbor City, but he can't quite pinpoint what changed.
"Just a small disagreement, nothing significant."
