"What do you think?" came a suggestive counter-question.
Lu Wanwan had not yet answered when she saw Gu Annan slightly lift his chin, his expression seemingly changing.
"Mr. Gu." It was Zhao Chen, "Good afternoon, Miss Lu."
"What is it?" said Gu Annan indifferently, "Haven't I said to handle whatever issues arise on your own?"
Zhao Chen looked troubled, "Mr. Gu, there's something I need to explain to you alone."
"I'm almost done eating. You all discuss the matter..." Lu Wanwan said as she started to stand up.
"Sit down." Gu Annan glanced at her, stood up, "Take your time, I'll be out for a moment."
Lu Wanwan nodded.
Gu Annan was never someone with a lot of free time; he wouldn't be staying in Xigang all the time.
It would be best if there was some company matter that required his immediate attention or an essential meeting he had to attend.
