Just as she finished explaining, the small army of creatures turned back and quickly left, disappearing into the forest.
Seeing this, everyone sighed in relief.
They were all ready to defend the walls with their lives if need be, but just like Elaina, they all hoped to get out of there before the barrier failed.
This situation was enough for all of the women to decide to move to the mansions, as they were further from the walls than their district, and they were also easier to fortify and defend if the creatures ever managed to get over the wall.
