The Ebon Sovereign quickly reached for his communication device and called the men tasked with ensuring that every last hostage remained under their watch. A few seconds later, the call ended without a reply.
He called another, then another, then another, until he finally realized he had lost the odeal even before the battle began. His men wouldn't dare let his call ring for more than three seconds without answering. So, ten unanswered calls meant only one thing...
