Watching Yuying's smile, though it was lighthearted and cute, he saw the pain hidden within, and that alone broke him.
Right now, Klaus could only start to think about how much pain she had to endure just to come help him, and the pain she must be in by now for doing that.
"Oh, Yuying, why do you always have to go the extra mile?" Klaus sighed and then wiped his eyes before turning to Asha, whom he had come to help in the first place.
