We scrambled to our feet, at least in my case, tried to, but it was no use, the men had already closed in. Nicole narrowed her eyes at Axel like a hawk warning an enemy, but Axel didn't seem intimidated in the least.
All colours l had drained from Isa's face as Cole closed the distance between them. He sat beside her, taking up almost the entire coach. Their bodies were definitely pressed together as Cole threw his arm around her, basically caging her in. She couldn't escape him if she wanted.
Meanwhile, Axel had made his way to Nicole, who had now risen to her feet once he had appeared. Although Nicole was the tallest amongst the three of us, Axel still towered over her. She still arched her neck in defiance, the two of them locked in a stare off.
