Axel sat Jen on her bed, he passed her a bottle of water and helped her take a sip. Once her breathing stabilized, he asked, "Now, tell me what you mean by Ethan was married to Brooke?"
Jen inhaled sharply, calming her tensed nerves. "Actually, it's not that I knew he was married to Brooke specifically, I knew he had a wife, and that they had a divorce. I had only seen her once, she sat at the back of Ethan's car, and it wasn't even for a full five seconds."
"You used to work with Brooke in the past, right? Is it possible she was hiding from you?" He suggested.
Jen huffed, "Ethan had a number of private investigators try to find his wife, I was the one responsible for getting feedback from them. However, they all reported no success in finding her."
"But Brooke's been making waves online, there's no way Ethan hasn't been able to find her all this time." He pointed out, folding his arms across his stomach.
