"And how the hell do you expect me to manage that?!" Brooke yelled at her, as though the man Cassie asked to see was not seated across from her at the table.
Cassie scoffed, "I know the Grayson heir wouldn't pay your kind any attention, but you're not completely useless in this situation. I'm sure the director or the producer of your mediocre film must have his contact. Squeeze it out of them and give it to me."
Brooke rolled her eyes, she looked at Thane, whose stoic demeanor had shifted into obvious disgust.
"I can't possibly do that! He's very wealthy and very powerful, he'll eat me alive." She said, Thane laughed and covered his mouth, taking her words out of context.
Brooke kicked him under the table, "Don't laugh." she mouthed, fighting back the wide grin playing on her lips.
