"Sleep," Khaos said and then climbed off the bed, clearly planning to walk out of the bedroom, which left Zuri speechless.
"Wait," Zuri called him in a rush and Khaos stopped. He turned around and looked at her, as if asking what she wanted.
Actually, Zuri didn't have anything to say, she only called him because she wanted to spend more time with him, just a bit longer, but because she was put on the spot like this, she needed to think of a reasonable excuse for why she had called him.
"About the thing you requested of me…" Zuri stuttered a bit, but then she thought it was a good reason. "I think I can help you find it, but I can't do it on my own… I need, uhm, assistance."
Khaos nodded, he expected as much. He had been looking for that for years now and had no clue where that thing was. The only lead that he had was the black market, but that place was shady and money alone was not enough to find the information that he needed.
