"We've been formally invited to have a meeting with the MoonChild, as she wishes to propose an alliance.
Ash slammed his hands on the table and stood up so suddenly the chair he was sitting in fell backwards, "You mean Odette? I get my daughter back?"
"Not, quite. We are meeting with the MoonChild, she will not be returning with us. But you will get to see and speak to her."
Ash's heart was racing, even if she wasn't returning, at this point, with all he's lost, even the littlest of gain was something he would jump at.
"Why can't she return with us? She's our princess." Oliver pouted. He so missed his spicy niece.
"Because she is meant to stay with her protector, and I'm sure she has her own reasons and stories to share with you." Leviathan smiled the whole time he spoke. But it wasn't the endearing kind, but the knowing kind.
He was a little excited to see how the whole 'fated mate' thing will go over with the family.
