Ambrose heard the alarm, and he instantly thought about Odette. He needed to get to her, needed to make sure she was safe.
Odette was rushing toward the front entrance when she saw the fires growing, and she looked at Emalea and said "Listen, I know you're not going to like this, but I need you to transform and find the king, and tell him I'm going in, come find me if he can."
Odette knew he'd be pissed she'd run into danger and not return the room like she was told, but a challenge, it would egg him on, he'd find her. Until then they needed help. The fires were spreading faster and growing larger. Smoke was filling the air around the grounds. Soldiers and warriors were running toward the wall, Odette followed. She was faster than many of the wolves here, some transitioned while other stayed in their human form. She was passing them, and the wolves looked between each other with surprise and even admiration, or maybe it was stupidity. Odette didn't have the time to care.
