If people knew of her future great granddaughter's blessings people would try and use her or even worse kill her because they're afraid of her abilities and being unable to control them. Not just vampires, others too. Demons, witches, even other shifters. She would be a target.
She had the palace believing that a the goddess only used Violet as a messenger, because a goddess deemed her worthy. She'd spun so people thought Violet was favored by the gods, not that their unborn princess was blessed with Divine Fyre.
