Chapter 293: "Miss Fu Hua" Is Very Bold

"Lord Kevin, Lord Su, I am the intelligent housekeeper robot created by Lord Fuxi and Lord Nuwa, codename: Book of Fuxi. I am dedicated to taking care of Miss Fu Hua's daily life. On behalf of my late creators, I extend my sincere greetings and respect to you both!"

While 'Fu Hua' was busy setting down the massive luggage she had brought, Book of Fuxi stepped down onto the table and bowed respectfully toward Kevin and Su, who were seated.

Even though she always acted proud and overbearing in front of 'Fu Hua' and the real Fu Hua, deep down she understood that she was merely a servant, created to serve Fu Hua.

The two men before her, Kevin and Su, were towering figures from the Previous Era, ranked even higher than Fu Hua. As for her creators, Fuxi and Nuwa, the gap between them and these two was immense and insurmountable.

Whether in terms of years lived, beliefs upheld, strength possessed, or contributions made, Book of Fuxi knew she had to show the utmost respect.

Kevin stared calmly at her and gave a barely noticeable nod, accepting the doll's respect.

Su, however, looked momentarily dazed. Upon hearing the names "Fuxi" and "Nuwa" from her mouth, he was swept into a wave of memories.

"Fuxi… Nuwa…"

Su murmured the names, recalling the two vividly unique, fairy-like sisters.

In the Previous Era, Su hadn't known them particularly well. He was simply aware of their existence, and in the New Era, due to Fu Hua, he occasionally paid them a bit of attention, nothing more.

But with each passing of an elder from the Previous Era, there would be one less remaining.

That reality left Su in a silent, melancholy haze.

Kevin's indifference and Su's distraction left Book of Fuxi frozen in a bow, like she had been ignored completely.

Then, a pair of fair, flawless hands reached out from behind and gently scooped her up, holding her as if to protect her and bringing her close.

"Hey! You two old geezers, don't you dare bully my little Xuan! If you do, I won't care about old friendships, I'll blow you both up, got it? And you, Xuan, why are you even bothering with them? You're mine. You don't owe anyone else a thing, understand?"

The humble posture of Book of Fuxi was a sight 'Fu Hua' found unbearable.

Even more unbearable were the two old friends being so ungracious.

To her, Little Xuan was a treasure she cradled on the tip of her heart, someone she didn't dare touch too roughly, someone she wouldn't even talk back to if scolded—just to avoid causing her distress. So what right did these two have to receive such courtesy from her precious one? It's not like they raised her or anything!

Kevin looked at 'Fu Hua' with his usual calm. Neither moved by the doll's respect nor annoyed by "Fu Hua's" irritation.

Su, however, snapped out of it, smiling gently.

"Sorry, sorry. I was lost in thought. Nice to meet you, Book of Fuxi… and you too, Hua."

He looked at 'Fu Hua' deeply. Though his smile was warm, his gaze was examining.

Still holding Book of Fuxi, 'Fu Hua' plopped down into a chair without a hint of formality.

"Yeah, forget about Kevin, he's been like this for who knows how many years, I'm used to it. But Su, I'm surprised you're still kicking. And still as soft and squishy as ever— Anyway, I'm really happy to see you both alive and well!"

She grinned broadly, her smile pure and joyful as she looked at her two old friends.

Kevin stared intently at 'Fu Hua' and slowly nodded.

"Long time no see, Hua."

Fu Hua hadn't yet revealed the truth to this Herrscher version of herself, and as a friend, Kevin chose to wait and play along.

Su, on the other hand, didn't let it slide. A gentle spiritual field spread from him and enveloped "Fu Hua."

She paused, frowning.

Just as she was about to question him, Su withdrew his spiritual power and smiled sincerely.

"Apologies, it's just been so long since we've seen each other… I didn't mean to lose control of my power."

'Fu Hua' clicked her tongue and gave Su a once-over, eyeing his dark green short-sleeved outfit, the corners of her lips lifting slightly.

"You haven't trained enough, Su. Sure, you're technically the one who specializes in the domain of consciousness, but it's been fifty thousand years—and now I'm the strongest when it comes to mental power, while you're still stuck where you were. Su, don't just coast through life. Project VALUKA is just about enough. Maybe it's time to start focusing on yourself."

'Fu Hua' spoke in a tone that was half-mocking, half-sincere.

She truly believed that her own strength was what mattered most.

In her eyes, countless millennia had passed, yet Project VALUKA hadn't produced any clear results, and Su hadn't shown much of a leap in strength. Meanwhile, she had remained in Shenzhou all these years and achieved heights that would have been unimaginable in the Previous Era.

By comparison, she genuinely felt Su should start dedicating more time to cultivating his own power if he wanted to be of greater help in the future.

"Thanks for the reminder. So—how about some tea?"

Su waved a hand, smiling as he shifted the topic.

Whether it was worth it or not—different people had different views. But Su was willing. Even if he died chasing a sliver of hope, it would still be a choice he made without regret.

"Fu Hua," still holding Book of Fuxi, glanced around as Su passed her a cup of tea, then suddenly asked:

"By the way, where's Sigurd? Wasn't he supposed to be here?"

"Ah, that… it's pretty normal. We mostly see him when Kiana's around. When she's not here, he's usually off in one of his sub-dimensions, buried in his work. It's not unusual for him to vanish for long stretches."

"Huh? I came all this way and that guy's not even going to show up? Ugh, whatever! That cold-faced, prideful, dense blockhead… fine, I'll yell at him when I see him."

'Fu Hua' waved her hand impatiently, already assuming the dramatic stance of someone ready to chew him out the moment they met.

At that moment, both Book of Fuxi—who knew Sigurd's personality all too well—and Su, who had also grown quite familiar with the man's temper, broke into cold sweats.

"Umm…"

"Probably not a good idea."

They spoke almost in unison, hoping to stop her from walking straight into a disaster.

If left unchecked, there were two possible outcomes:

If Sigurd happened to be in a good mood, he might just pinch "Fu Hua's" cheek and brush her off like a child.

If he was in a bad mood… 'Fu Hua' would absolutely become his emotional punching bag. It wouldn't be pretty. No—more accurately, she'd definitely end up bawling her eyes out.

But 'Fu Hua' paid their concern no mind. She waved dismissively, clearly determined. A mere Sigurd? If she didn't teach him a lesson, would he even take her, the mighty Red Kite Immortal, seriously? Absolutely not!

She puffed up her chest proudly, ignoring the hesitant and worried looks from the tiny girl in her arms and the old friend across the table.

In the awkward atmosphere, Kevin calmly set down his teacup.

"How about a little spar?"

He spoke with his usual even tone.

Kevin didn't quite understand the thoughts of everyone around him—including the real Fu Hua hidden inside that body—but he focused on the most important point: "Fu Hua's" strength.

No matter what plans were in motion, only by assessing the full extent of the power this version of Fu Hua could wield would he be confident in pushing things forward.

That was how Kevin thought.

And 'Fu Hua' didn't disappoint. Still cradling Book of Fuxi securely in one arm, she slammed her other hand down on the table.

BANG!

Su twitched as he watched his table shatter again—wait, again?

Why did he think again?

Regardless, 'Fu Hua' stared directly at Kevin, her crimson eyes blazing with heat, her grin wide, overflowing with wild battle spirit and unrestrained energy radiating from her small frame.

"You get me! Fifty thousand years ago, you were the strongest human alive. But times have changed! I'm going to take that title today!"

"…Su, we'll need a battlefield. One that's sturdy enough."

Kevin looked at Su and spoke with cool determination.

Su opened his mouth, but faced with his emotionless yet clearly intrigued old friend, and the unstoppable will emanating from "Fu Hua," he could only sigh and smile wryly.

"Understood. Please try not to destroy everything."

With that, Su sliced open space, creating a pocket dimension to serve as their battleground.

'Fu Hua' gently set the pouting Book of Fuxi down on the table, tapped her on the head affectionately, then turned and walked off beside Kevin.

"…Is this really okay?"

Book of Fuxi rubbed her temples as she watched 'Fu Hua' back with an exasperated and worried expression.

Su simply shook his head with a faint smile.

"It's fine. Kevin knows his limits. Besides, the real Hua is watching too, isn't she?"

"…Sigh."

Book of Fuxi let out a long sigh. There was nothing more she could say.
