Chapter 275 - Chapter 275: Collision

Chapter 275: Collision

Return the pain a hundred times over?

The momentum was certainly impressive—but the problem was, she hadn't even been the one to hurt Raiden Mei in the first place!

Sirin's thoughts briefly wandered off, then snapped back into focus.

"That strange feeling… Is it the one who rescued the Herrscher of Wind and Herrscher of Death last time? It interfered with one of the Authority fragments. Using that interference, plus the connection between you and me, and the operating mechanics of the Theater of Domination… you stole Raiden Mei's Herrscher Authority? That's your plan?"

Sirin analyzed rapidly, then swung her arm.

The destruction she had been preparing exploded around Kiana—various elements with equally lethal force erupted at once.

BOOM!!!

Sirin didn't hesitate. She didn't give Kiana any time to respond.

Whether Kiana confirmed it or not didn't matter. Whether it was true or not didn't matter either.

What Sirin wanted was Kiana dead, and the Authority in her hands. That was all.

Wind blades, frost, deathly crimson mist, and spatial distortion—Sirin's chained attacks should've landed with lethal precision.

But within that explosion of energy… she saw the flash of a blade.

"Break through!!"

Thunder roared. Flames exploded. Kiana's eyes glowed with the violet light of a higher-dimensional perspective, and with an unbelievable force, she shattered what should have been an inescapable trap.

Sirin's eyes widened slightly.

"The Key of Sanction… higher-dimensional destructive power? But you shouldn't be able to wield it like this— Oh right, I almost forgot—right now you hold the Authority of Thunder. If even that can't drive the Key of Sanction, then no one can."

"Why are you asking so many questions all of a sudden? Don't tell me you're trying to scout my strength? Could it be… you're starting to feel fear?"

Kiana smiled as she spoke. In her left hand, she gripped the sword Mei had left behind. On her ring finger, the ring of the Key of Sanction flickered into a streak of lightning, extending across the blade and lengthening it to match Kōmei's exaggerated size. The blade now crackled with violet lightning.

Sirin paused, then responded coldly:

"Three full Herrscher powers, with the Key of Sanction included… you've certainly grown stronger. Now I'm genuinely curious—if I kill you and take all of that power for myself, how will Sigurd react? Will he pretend to mourn you first? Or feel heartache for his own loss? Or maybe… regret not coming out to deal with me himself from the start?"

"Yeah… three powers… I never thought I'd actually reach this level. Turns out, true strength only shows when you're forced into it. You'll never know your limit until you push it."

"As for what Sig thinks…"

Kiana spoke with emotion, as though lost in thought. But before she even finished her sentence, she had already flashed in front of Sirin, a playful smile on her face as she brought both blades down in a sweeping strike.

"Sneaky!"

Sirin commented coolly. Instead of using spatial distortion to defend against Kiana's higher-dimensional attack, she simply shifted her body, reappearing on the far side of the platform.

RUMBLE!!!

Kiana's strike missed, but cleaved through most of the platform—massive fragments of the building crumbled and plummeted into a seemingly bottomless abyss.

Missing her target, Kiana turned to see Sirin, now a hundred meters away, holding her chin as if deep in thought.

At the same time, a blade of intangible fluid covered the area where Kiana stood.

Boom!

Kiana, using her higher-dimensional destructive force, tore through the encirclement and appeared in front of Sirin again, swinging her blades down.

Sirin's figure vanished once more—reappearing to the left, then right, then before and behind—flickering continuously around Kiana.

"I don't fully understand higher-dimensional perspective, but you've clearly gained the power to break through both ideal fluid and spatial Authorities."

"Ideal fluid—on paper—counters all conventional physical attacks and defenses, even Authority of Thunder."

"Spatial power, in turn, perfectly counters ideal fluid."

"But within the Authority of Thunder itself… there's a hidden potential to break through both the Authority of Wind and Space."

"The Authority of Domination can threaten all Herrscher powers, but that unknown force that interfered with the Theater of Domination twice… seems to specifically counter the Authority of Domination."

"So these seemingly unrelated Authorities actually have countering relationships. Looks like no power is truly unbeatable after all. What seems like a simple and direct force—the Herrscher Authority—might actually hold deeper potential to be tapped into…"

"I see. I feel like I've understood a lot more now. I should thank you all, really."

Sirin's flickering figure seemed omnipresent, her composed voice echoing from all directions. This display wasn't just about power—it reflected an unmatched self-confidence.

As if to say: even with all her power-ups, Kiana still posed no real threat to her.

Kiana had launched several attacks in a row, but none had hit. All she managed to do was tear through the ruins of the platform, over and over again.

Though she could sense Sirin's spatial movements, she simply couldn't keep up with her.

At the same time, Sirin launched wave after wave of attacks in return. But Kiana, for all her fatigue, still cut each one down. The damage was minimal—but the stalemate had clearly begun.

"Huff... Huff... Huff…"

After another fruitless strike, Kiana's twin blades dragged against the ground, her breathing growing ragged.

"You're starting to falter? Just the power from the Gem of Haste alone was enough to push your body to its limits. Now you've added Authority of Thunder and you're channeling the Key of Sanction on top of that…"

"I don't even have to finish you myself. All I have to do is wait—you'll die on your own."

"You sure talk a lot. Are you gonna fight or not?"

"Still running that mouth, huh? Too bad your skills don't match your trash talk."

Suddenly, Sirin appeared right in front of Kiana. With a single hand, she casually summoned a chaotic, multicolored energy sphere—terrifying destruction concentrated in her palm.

Her lips curved into a smirk, full of disdain.

BOOM!!!

Kiana crossed her blades in defense, but was blasted back hundreds of meters. Her feet carved deep lines into the ground as she slid, only barely halting at the edge of the crumbling platform.

"So that's all you've got? I could drag this out and let time finish you off… but I'm not that patient."

"Let me show you what true despair looks like."

Sirin rose into the air. Around her, wind, ice, death, and fractured space converged into four devastating orbs—Herrscher powers refined to annihilation.

Unparalleled Honkai energy flooded the battlefield.

Kiana, seeing this overwhelming force, did something unexpected—she relaxed.

"Now that's more like it. You've always been the impatient, brute-force type. If you'd just kept hiding, I'd be in real trouble."

She leveled her twin blades. Flames and lightning coiled upward as she crouched—then launched herself like an arrow.

Sirin sneered, waving her hand.

An endless torrent of attacks poured down like a storm—darkening the sky, heralding the apocalypse.

BOOM!

BOOM!

BOOM!

In mere moments, what was left of the platform crumbled and collapsed, swallowed into the bottomless abyss below.

Kiana danced between falling rocks, weaving through the rain of destruction with fluid precision—each step taking her closer to Sirin.

When there were no footholds left, Kiana gave them up entirely.

Trailing fire and lightning behind her, she flew straight toward Sirin—like a swallow darting through a storm.

"Sirin!!"

"Foolish insect!"

Sirin raised her hand, aiming directly at the incoming blur. But what she saw on that madwoman's face wasn't fear or hesitation—it was a smile. Fierce, wild, and fearless.

A chill ran through Sirin's golden eyes as her killing intent surged.

Two immense powers collided, and as expected, the impact was absolute.

BOOM!!!

The world trembled.
