Chapter 14 - The Victory of the Gentleman

The video views were rapidly approaching 200,000. Although still behind the really popular creators, it was clear that her video had gained significant traction.

However, what surprised her was that her collection and coin count had both surpassed 5,000 and 2,400, respectively. It seemed she had a fair number of fans after all. Given that, her singing wasn't bad at all. The 3,500 Culture Points she spent on it were definitely worth it.

Well, selective forgetting some things is also a fun part of life, isn't it?

Opening the comment section, she was immediately shocked by the sheer number of comments. With nearly 1,000 comments in less than a day, it was a rare achievement, usually only seen with highly controversial or incredibly popular videos.

But after scanning through the comments, she froze in disbelief. Nearly every comment was the same: "The era of lolis has come. The victory of lolicons, long live lolis!" She flipped through several pages, and at least 90% of the comments were the same.

After thinking for a moment, she clicked on the most liked comment. It turned out to be her own comment. It had over 100 replies, most of which were just joking, so she scrolled past it quickly. The second comment, however, caught her attention. She immediately understood why so many people had repeated that phrase.

"For as long as anyone can remember, truly captivating lolis in the three-dimensional world have been few and far between. But when one manages to break the barrier between dimensions, making us feel as though she's stepped out from the second dimension, that's truly a rare occurrence."

"Today, we've had the privilege of meeting this talented and incredibly cute BlackNeko loli who's brought us such a beautiful song."

"Of course, the most important thing is the video that Big Sister released, which gives us a glimpse of a loli who can finally break the divide between the two dimensions. Her appearance tells us that with determination, we will always get the loli we desire."

"Though she doesn't belong to me, she belongs to all of us, to the countless lolicons across the world. So I raise my voice in support: The era of lolis has come. The victory of lolicons, long live lolis!"

Looking at the likes, there were nearly 300, just 200 fewer than hers. The comment was on the 700th floor. No wonder most of the subsequent comments were like this. So it was this person behind it all!

Actually, she seriously considered deleting the comment, but since there were so many weirdos lurking, she wasn't too keen on it.

Unfortunately, creators didn't have the right to delete comments. The only way to remove one was to report it and have the admins take it down.

She was a bit annoyed and uncomfortable but couldn't bring herself to do it. Even if she did report it, there was nothing wrong with the comment, so she let it go. If she didn't agree with it, she'd just ignore it. Yup!

But since it was getting so popular, she figured she could add some fuel to the fire. She decided to sneakily upload a new video. After editing and adding some text, she clicked upload.

Once it was done, she flashed a subtle smile, closed her computer, and waited for the review process to finish. Even if it was discovered later, there was nothing she could do about it. After all, she was the one who started it. This was just a little bit of harmless retaliation.

Meanwhile, Ayase, who had been watching a movie in the system space, suddenly sneezed several times. She frowned, realizing something was off. She wasn't a physical being anymore, so sneezing like this made no sense.

Unless... it was related to her, and something she didn't know about was happening. It could be either good or bad, and her spiritual awareness triggered the sneeze as a warning.

But who knew she existed? Besides Chu Lian and Wang Tingsi's group, no one else. Wang Tingsi didn't know her name, so it could only be Chu Lian.

As this thought crossed her mind, Ayase suddenly recalled something from a few days ago. With a jolt, she jumped out of bed and left the system space. She now understood exactly what had happened.

But it seemed Chu Lian already knew Ayase would notice. The moment she appeared, Chu Lian immediately buried herself under the blankets and said, "I didn't upload that video. Don't bully me!" Well, no need to pretend anymore.

Ayase wanted to deal with her right away but also realized that before the video went through the review process, she had no way of stopping it. When she checked the computer, she found the third video uploaded with the title: "Let me show you Big Sister's Charms."

Well, it was already too late. The video couldn't be deleted now. Deleting it would also harm Chu Lian's BlackNeko persona.

As the system's soul, Ayase could never interfere with the host's mission. With a resigned sigh, she realized she had only realized what was happening half an hour too late. If she had noticed earlier, none of this would have happened.

But for her, exposing her identity wasn't a big deal. She was more concerned about certain people seeing through things and causing trouble for Chu Lian.

Since things had already happened, she decided to let it go. When the time came, she would deal with it naturally—there was no need to worry too much about it.

Besides, in this world, those who knew her true origin were hidden in the deepest corners, turning into legends and history. If they wanted to show up, it would likely take years.

So, Ayase wasn't all that concerned about the exposure. It was of little consequence. She would always be in the background, and there was a very small chance of her stepping onto the stage.

But Chu Lian's actions, however, could not be forgiven so easily. After closing the computer, Ayase turned her body and floated over to Chu Lian's bed. With a gentle pull, she threw the blankets off, climbed in beside her, and soon, Chu Lian's pleas could be heard.

The sounds soon changed into something else.

The room lights went out, and the night deepened. The long day quietly passed.

While they were asleep, Chu Lian's uploaded video stirred up another wave of excitement, and the view count surged even faster.

The video wasn't even that elaborate. It showed Ayase in an ancient red dress, sitting elegantly in a misty pavilion. Her starry eyes were calm like still water, and her beautiful face held no expression, with a touch of vermilion placed between her brows, adding a fiery touch to her icy visage, making her even more stunning.

Her graceful fingers caressed the strings of a guqin, her lips barely parted. As her gaze shifted, the sorrow of heroes was revealed. "How much hatred in the mortal world, how many grievances left in the past? The beautiful face of a lady, who knows her longing?"

This short poem, paired with her fingers gently moving, produced a melodious sound that accompanied Ayase's soft singing. In this scene, it truly broke countless hearts.

The barrage of comments continued to flood in, with two words added to the TGA section: "Peerless Beauty," and "Stunningly Beautiful."

Indeed, in this video, Ayase was undeniably the kind of woman most men would never forget. Her beauty could captivate anyone, with an unintentionally seductive aura—passionate yet cold. She looked like a goddess who had descended into the mortal realm. Beautiful and untouchable, admired but never dared to approach. Perhaps Su Shi's words could best describe how she appeared: "She floats as if she belongs to another world, ascending to immortality."

It was impossible to know exactly how many people were captivated by the woman in the red dress, but the explosive growth in clicks and comments showed that the two of them, though different in nature, had both left a deep impression on countless people, dominating MySong.

This craze, aided by continuous recommendations, slowly stirred up ripples in the vast network world.
