Silva walked out of the portal, he expected to find someone, but there was no one there, only a heat that could scorch skin, and air so hot it burned the back of his throat with every breath.
He looked around first, and he was completely surrounded by a massive desert. There was no place or building as far as his eyes could see.
"This is not looking good," he muttered. Here he was in a new world, in a desert with no idea of where he was exactly. The entire situation right now wasn't nice.
He handed Snow to Dawn. "Hold her, please," he said, and she took her. Dawn was half asleep, and she was almost asleep. He considered that a good thing because until they properly found out where they were or where to go, he didn't want to bother with her or anything else right now.
"Master, are you sure Lady Ophelia sent you to the right place?" Drake asked. He scanned the surroundings with his eyes. "It's also odd that the sun of this planet seemingly has no effect on me," Drake added.
