Chapter 154 - Punishment For Mercy's Refusal

The punishment these individuals would go through will last a lifetime. There was no longer any hope of salvation, for the silver they had once had, was burned. They dosed the bridge to their own salvation, with gasoline, lit a match and set it ablaze. Night Silver no longer needed to care about these particular members of the Eight Greed Kings women, and children.

To get into specifics of what they would have been able to have free use of, was a bountiful land, all to themselves along with the aid of a handful of the druids from Tus Nadair. Both to watch over, and care for the families in an effort to bring them to see the full brilliance of the Tus Nadairian faith. To bring them to love the All Mother, with all of their hearts.

They would have had free access to proper education, meals, health care and everything else that anyone could ever want, or need. Live in their own land of isolation, a small forest to play in, and explore. It was all ready and waiting for them, all they had to do was cast off their lineage linking them to the evil that had done its very best to plunge the world into total destruction, and cast their plague in what remained.

Night Silver, a loving mother to all those who worship her, and one who would even treat the people as equals to some degree, she had expended a bit of effort to create this paradise for the families of the Eight Greed Kings specifically, because she didn't want to condemn them for the crimes of their parents. So when they spit her effort back in her face, that was the end of it.

Now, their punishment… The women, currently carrying, were placed in a cell, caged in via magic. Each was provided with a bed that had just enough space to be comfortable to sleep, but not to stay forever. There were several blankets and pillows to ensure the safety of the unborn. And there was also a self cleaning hybrid toilet, it was a combination of a shower, sink and toilet.

To be quite honest, it wasn't all that bad of a condition. Though, it wasn't one meant for the women themselves. It was purely meant for the unborn, but once they were no longer carrying, well, the cell they'd be moved to was far worse… And everyday they stayed in this cell, they could see the one that awaited them in their future.

For the children, they got a significantly different punishment. Each was forced to train their physical traits to their absolute limit. They would do this in a combined cell, and were watched, trained, and coached by the fae, every single day. This is how their lives would go until they became adults. Once adults, they well, they became performing the acts required of them to continue making more of those, Inventory Drops. After such actions were finished, the males were bound and tied up, being fed bare minimum requirements to continue their survival, only to be released and do it again.

The fae began to no longer see them as human, or as intelligent beings either. It was merely a ranch, a farm for an item that could only be obtained one way… These people were now tools.

Occasionally, using a spartan like method Night Silver had heard about in ancient times, the offspring would be taken to the paradise zone, and raised as the children of a family chosen to live there. The family there, had to be one with multiple men and women, all of them interchangeably loving each other.

Once the chosen children, the ones with the blood of the Eight Greed Kings in their veins, reached maturity, they were told, and shown the truth. The results, the child now an adult, would then be taken to Night Silver herself. This is where they would affirm their own hearts on the matter. And without fail… Each child would swear off their bloodline, and only claim to have the ones that raised them as their parents, with the lone exception of Night Silver herself, the goddess who cared enough to spare the child.

All of that said, there was more that happened during the time all of this was getting set up. So, just after the induction of these criminals into their eternal punishment, Night Silver returned to visit Tsa.

Tsa laid there listening to the explanation of what will happen to those unfortunate souls. His demeanor took on a difficult expression. "I see, so that is what was done with them. On the one hand I agree with you, but I also don't feel they deserve such a punishment, or at least not one that lasts their whole lives."

"Tsa, I know it seems harsh, but remember, I gave them every chance to make the right choice. Sister Issanth even took care of them, giving them not so subtle hints. Ones that were clearly made for them to accept my mercy." Night Silver replied, as a little milk began to seep out. "I was prepared to treat each of them as if they were my very own child, birthed from my own loins. And yet they denied me, in favor of a father who never cared about them to begin with." She started crying, having never felt so hurt before.

The explanation that Tsa heard, and saw, now sealed the deal for him. "I see, then I guess the punishment was warranted…" He muttered, with a slight unease in his tone, it wasn't fear, or discontent, it was worry, aimed at his dear friend. "It's not like I have much room to speak on it myself, I remember devouring people for looking at me the wrong way when I was quite a bit younger." He sighed, condemning himself to no longer having the ability to protest his friend's choice in the matter. "Besides that, they made you cry from the eye, from heart, and from the breast." He chuckled.

"Oh, yeah that's right I need someone to drink this before it goes to waste." She almost freaked, then the one woman that had been Hougan's plaything jumped on one breast, while Issanth helped the other. "Oh, phew, thank you, my child, and dear sister." She sighed, hugging them with relief. "Now then, let's go home and have some fun." The three of them vanished through a portal.
