"Well…" Anastasia stretched the word playfully as she looked straight into Christian's green eyes.
For a moment, it seemed like she was debating whether she should tease him.
Then she dismissed the idea with a quiet huff, as if deciding that kind of childishness was beneath her.
"You don't need to worry," she said at last. "Even though your world is remotely located, it's already within the discovered part of the universe."
Christian felt relief slip into his chest at the first half of her words.
But it didn't last.
"Under one of the strong factions," Anastasia added.
Christian's expression tightened.
A faction that Anastasia herself called strong.
And Earth… supposedly under their authority.
That was anything but comforting.
Noticing his mood immediately, Anastasia sighed, then leaned back slightly on his lap as if he was being unreasonable.
"You really worry too much."
