Sabrina stood in the middle of the huge ball room, where other elites also stood, talking and drinking, some even sneak peeks at her and gossip, mostly the women,
"Guess who she is?" A lady whispered to another but that couldn't be completely called whisper as they made sure Sabrina heard and some others around, who payed attention to what they were saying now,
"I don't know, she looks really beautiful with that perfect body and face," the other woman who didn't know about her said, "Which family is she from? Maybe I can get her to marry my son, Felix,"
The other lady chuckled, "Alice, you must be kidding, so you have no idea who she is and yet you want to get her married to your son?"
"What about that? She doesn't look like someone from a poor family, I mean look at her dress," they kept on saying, amusing each other while others close by listened, along with Sabrina who had started feeling uncomfortable with the amount of stares she was getting. She wondered were she could go to now to avoid stares, she thought to herself, she shouldn't have come, now she regret.
"Well sorry to ruin your amazing plan but this one here is already married and you know who? She is the prince second wife," the woman who started the conversation exposed and people around them gasped, so did the other lady,
"What? You mean the woman he got married to that came from the village? The one he got married to recently?!"
"Yes, it's her,"
"Omg look at how she looks now, she must be glad to finally be away from suffering in that poor village and now that she's living in the castle, she's looking better," the other lady said who turned now to stare fully at Sabrina, not caring that Sabrina noticed,
"Right?"
"Yes, but still I don't think the prince should have gotten married to her, as she is from such a poor background, he could have chose to get married to any maiden of our society, instead a low life human," she said
"That's very true, ila," the first lady said to her friend, "He should have been patient, now Princess Rosaline is pregnant and so is this human, it won't be right for a low human son to rule over us," they kept blabbering and Sabrina was starting to feel like she needed to go home but couldn't even spot Selene,
"Greetings your grace," suddenly she heard those ladies say and even some people around, turning behind her she saw Lyon. Your grace? Oh yeah she almost forgot he was an Alpha,
"Lyon?" Sabrina said after nodding to the greetings of the others who quickly stopped talking and walked away,
Lyon smiled to the woman he loved and still in love with now, he was looking really handsome tonight with his black hair combed back, making his face more visible and attractive that ladies passing by stare at the both of them harder, glaring at Sabrina
"What are you doing here alone, Sabrina?" He asked with a frown,
While the party went on, in the council building, where lots of councilmen who have been assigned by their head, Maximus works at,
Lucian stood out the council building with Theodore, he had a smile on his face as he stared at the building,
"How did the clearing go so far?" Theodore asked and that only made Lucian smile widen,
"You have no idea," he replied in thought, "Those damn witches were all over the place," he added,
He had actually just arrived from Merrillville land with his co worker, who approached them now,
"Hello Luke, why don't you tell Theodore here, how our days went at Merrillville," Lucian spoke with a grin on his face to a good looking man with black hair and eyes but the man wasn't smiling and was looking serious,
"I have to head back now to the mansion, Lucian, today is Fallon's birthday celebration," the man named Luke said without any expression being written on his face,
"That's understandable," Lucian said simply still smiling,
"When are you heading home, Lucian?" Luke asked,
"Why? Do you have somewhere else you want us to visit?" Lucian asked with one brow raised up,
"No, it seems you don't want to go home, why don't you come along to the celebration with me?" Luke suggested and Lucian just hummed,
"Alright, I will be bored here anyways," he said before turning to look at Theodore who frowned, then he grinned, "What? Wondering why I'm not going home? You have nothing to worry about, Theo, how is she?" He asked, his face suddenly turning serious,
"She is fine and in the mansion, probably asleep now," Theodore responded not knowing she wasn't in the mansion anymore but in Fallon's birthday celebration party,
"I came with Selene," Sabrina said as she and Lyon walked to balcony in the mansion which had less people there,
She saw Lyon stop a servant who had a tray of juice in his hand, he took two glasses and gave one to Sabrina which she accepted and took a huge gulp from it, which Lyon caught,
"Wow I didn't know you were thirsty, I would have taken more than two glass of juice then," Lyon said teasingly with a grin on his face, "So have you come into your full abilities?"
