Sabrina left her chamber shortly and on arriving in her room, she asked Aurora to get her tea, Aurora nodded straight away and left
She got to the kitchen, where the head cook was nowhere to be found, she quickly made the tea and was about to leave when she bumped into another maid, who had been stalking her since and she didn't know,
"Billy!" Aurora said shocked,
"Watch where you are going," The maid named Billy glared at Aurora, "Anyways, it's good I met you here, Princess Selene wants blood tea now and she wants you to get it for her,"
"What! Why can't you?," Aurora said with a frown on her face and Billy only glared more at her,
"That's not left for me now to respond to, is it? Why don't you go ask the Princess that question?" She grinned, "If you know what's good for you, you will do as you were told, Aurora,"
"But I've been given special orders to only tend to Princess Sabrina and I can't -"
"Seems you have a death wish," Billy cut in with a glare, "Princess Selene is the daughter of his royal highness, King Gerald, which means she's of more importance than your lovely Princess Sabrina, so unless you don't want to be beheaded you'd get the job done quickly and stop uttering rubbish,"
"Hmm," she nodded and left the tea meant for Sabrina on the counter, hoping it will stay warm before she gets back, she saw Billy leave but what she didn't know was that she hasn't really left yet,
Aurora made the blood tea and quickly left to deliver the tea to the Princess, when she left, Billy snuck into the kitchen and quickly brought out the poison bottle and poured it into the tea and quickly left there immediately,
Not long did Aurora walk in, thankful that the princess didn't delay her and quickly left with the poisoned tea and on arriving in Sabrina's room, she handed the warm tea to her,
On receiving the tea, Sabrina frowned and Aurora noticed this,
"Are you alright, your highness?" Aurora asked wondering what suddenly happened,
"Why is the tea cold?" Sabrina asked because right now the tea cup she was holding was ice cold, making her shiver,
"Cold!" Aurora was surprised because she could have sworn that the tea she handed to the Princess was still burning hot,
"Feel it," Sabrina handed the cup to Aurora who took it and frowned,
"It's hot, your highness,"
"Are you sure Aurora?" Sabrina asked and Aurora nodded. Sabrina took the cup back from her and noticed how the still cold cup started to turn warm, her eyes widen, she must be imagining things, she shook her head and took a sip from the tea before drowning the rest of the liquid, not knowing they were being spied at by the maid Billy, who hurried to inform her mistresses about the success of the mission and they were indeed happy, now waiting to hear the news of Sabrina's death,
That night Sabrina was in her bed perfectly fine and sleeping when she suddenly felt heaviness on her, opening her eyes it widened when she saw Lucian grinning down at her,
"W.... What are you doing here Lucian?" She asked surprised,
"What do you mean by that, darling.... I'm your husband and the father of the child in your womb, so I can come in your chamber and go as I please," he said with a wicked grin on his face, his expression seemed to have darken tonight and he looked scary to Sabrina right now that she just gulped,
Lucian rolled to her other side on the bed and stretched out his long legs while he stared up at the ceiling, Sabrina turned to look at him as he continued looking up,
"You shouldn't be here all the time, you should spend more time with Rosaline too," Sabrina said and she saw one side of his lip pull up in a smirk, as he turned his body to also face her,
"Well aren't you considerate, sprout," he grinned before he moved his hand and touched her cheek, Sabrina just stared back into his eyes as he held her gaze,
To be honest she had missed him all day, she never thought she'd feel this way towards this man but she knew for sure that she didn't love him, so all what the Queen said was never true,
"What are you thinking about, sprout?" He asked staring down at her full lip, suddenly he placed his thumb on it and Sabrina breathed in, "How's the baby?"
"It's good," she responded with her mind still on his thumb playing with her lips before he stopped and retracted his hand back to his side, then he looked up at the ceiling again while pulling Sabrina by her waist closer to him and she didn't protest,
"You didn't tell me why you are here and not with Rosaline," she asked again
"What happened little sprout, are you jealous?"
"What! No I'm not!" Sabrina quickly said with her face turning red, "I ... Why would I be.... I'm not jealous I just thought why you came to me tonight,"
"To keep you warm," he said simply, his face devoid of any emotions as his features darkened and Sabrina wondered what happened,
"But I'm not cold Lucian," she said softly,
"The baby might be, I'm not really here for you but my baby," he said with a grin on his face as he saw the shocked expression on her face, he chuckled, "Now go to sleep sprout and stop talking,"
Sabrina listened to him but she just couldn't sleep after few minutes of silence between them,
"Are you asleep?" She said and he turned to look at her,
"Why? Do you want to do something sweet tonight," he asked with a sexy grin on his face and Sabrina just gulped down as she stared down at his sexy lips before looking up into his eyes that were already staring at her,
"What name would you like our child to be called? If it was a boy I think Alexander is a nice name," she spoke with a smile on her face thinking of them having a baby, "And if it was a girl... You choose," she said
Lucian grinned while he hummed in thought, "Genevieve,"
"Hmm Genevieve is a nice name, Eve," Sabrina said as she chuckled, she indeed liked the name,
"Yeah it is....." He said lost in thought and when he noticed her staring at him, he grinned,
"Are you happy about the baby, Lucian?" Sabrina asked, wondering if she was the only one excited about the baby's arrival,
"Of course I am, why wouldn't I be, sprout, and what about you?"
"I am," she smiled and Lucian could see the sparkle in her eyes as she thought about their baby, he kissed her forehead then, Sabrina raised up on one elbow to stare into his eyes, then her eyes lowered down to his lips and then she kissed him, he didn't respond and just let her, it was a light kiss before she rolled back on the bed a little embarrassed,
"What was that for sprout?" He asked teasingly
