"What is your daughter doing, Sarphina?" Hannah said to Sarphina with a frown on her face, looking at Sabrina and Lyon,
Sarphina too didn't know why her daughter was acting so careless, yes she knew that Lyon was like a friend to Sabrina, that's what she knows but she didn't know there was more to what was between them, but still they shouldn't be dancing so intimately with each other or even spending so much time with each other, she could see how Lady Lucia along with the rest of the royal family and guests kept staring at them,
"Hey," Sarphina called out to a servant, who answered with her head bowed, "Get me that lady on black dress, tell her her mother would like to see her now," the servant quickly went to Sabrina,
After taking excusing herself, Sabrina made her way to were her mother was standing with Elena's mother,
"Mother?" Sabrina smiled at her mother who just stare at her with a frown on her face,
"Let's leave here. Follow me to somewhere private," Sarphina said and they walked to the quiet garden of the castle.
"What is it, mother?"
"What were you doing with Lyon?" Sarphina asked with a glare,
"We were dancing and talking," Sabrina replied with a small frown, "Is there any problem?"
"Sabrina, you are married, do you know that?" Sarphina spoke with an angry look on her face,
"I know, mother. I don't understand -"
"You are married, yet you danced so intimately with Lyon and even talked to him so closely, do you not care what guests and even the royal family will say about that?"
"They won't say nothing about it because there's nothing going on between us and you know it mother-"
"I do. But do you think any of them will, Sabrina, did you see the stares you were both getting, from Lady Lucia, from guests?" Sarphina yelled, glaring at Sabrina who frowned, "Couldn't you have spent time with your husband instead-"
"You saw him. He was with Rosaline, his wif-"
"So are you his wife, Sabrina,"
"Well I never wanted to be mother and you know, not most especially a second wife," Sabrina said, hurt evident in her voice,
"It's your destiny, my child. He chose you, it doesn't matter if Rosaline was his first wife, you can be his favorite-"
"What if I don't want to be?" Sabrina asked quietly,
"You must my dear. You need to bare him a child, a son. Sabrina time is ticking, the royal family won't be so patient for so long, you have to act quick," Sarphina said with a calm tone.
"What if I don't want to do any of this mother?" Sabrina also spoke calmly, looking into her mother's eyes,
"For my sake Sabrina and also yours, you have to do this. If it's all about love, love will happen as time goes on, give him a chance. Lady Lucia sent me a letter not long ago, she said nothing is happening between the both of you," Sarphina said and Sabrina's eyes widen,
"She did?"
"She did, she wants me to have a word with you. Sabrina this is a good life for you, why do you want to jeopardize it? Just give him a baby, that's all," Sarphina added
"Does my happiness matter to you, mother?" Sabrina asked sadly,
"More than anything. Which is why I am telling you to do this, I am saying all this for your sake my dear. Am your mother after all,"
"Okay, mother," Sabrina replied quietly, "I will do as you have asked,"
Sarphina smiled, "That's more like it. Soon you would know it was all for your own good,"
"Yes, mother," Sabrina answered quietly,
"Now I want you to go in there and be with your husband, okay?"
"Yes, mother,"
Sabrina walked into the ballroom, and thankfully Lucian was no where to be found, so she decided to stick with Elena. When the party came to an end, she bid good bye to her mother and Elena's, Elena was staying for sometime in the mansion,
It was late at night, so Sabrina decided to go back to her room after taking Elena to hers, on arriving in her room, she took off the gown and went in her bathroom, after finishing she came out wrapped in towel, she wondered where Lucian was throughout the rest of the celebration, turning her eyes widen,
"Lucian? Wh-"
Lucian pulled her and pressed her back on the nearest wall, standing close in front of her, she winced,
"What are you doing?" Sabrina asked with a frown on her face, "Let me go this instant,"
"What if I don't want to?" Lucian spoke coldly with a glare. He was still in his celebration attire,
"You are hurting me,"
"I meant to," he replied, "You've got some nerves you know, dancing so closely with him,"
"With who? Lyon?" Sabrina asked staring into his now darker red eyes,
"You seemed to have been enjoying his company earlier, do you know that I can finish him off for that?" He said with a coldness Sabrina has never seen,
Sabrina's even widen, "You can't. There's nothing between us-"
"I could remember clearly you both confessing your love for each other, never thought either of you would have the nerve to flirt in front of me,"
"I told you, there's nothing going on between us," Sabrina said again struggling to get out of his tight grip, making him tighten it even more,
"Struggle more and I will snap your hand from your body," he said and Sabrina stopped moving immediately as she stared into his eyes. Is this who her mother wants her to have an intimate relationship with, no this was only for them to have a baby, nothing more and she will give him just that,
