"I know you don't but you have to do it okay? Promise me, Sabrina? I do not want you to keep getting hurt beloved Sabrina, please promise?" Elena said and Sabrina could see the worry in her eyes for her.
"I will give it a try, Elena and because of you but I won't let that monster touch or come close to me,"
"Alright, Sabrina and please take good care of yourself.... Infact since I am here, I will always care for you," Sabrina smiled at her friend's sweetness.
"Oh what a friend I am, you have just arrived, you haven't even had anything to eat or rested yet and here I am burdening you with my burden,"
"It's okay, Sabrina. Am here for you,"
"I should leave you to rest now, I will send Aurora to get you something to eat and please do rest, make yourself at home, you must have been tired after such a long journey," Sabrina got up and smiled at her friend before walking out of the room.
On her way to her room, she came across Vincent who was using two wooden swords to play, on seeing her he smiled and bowed in greeting.
"How are you feeling now, Aunty Sab?" Vincent asked nicely and Sabrina couldn't help but smile and level herself to the little boy's level, by then Lucian who saw them paused and stared. He could still see the visible wound on Sabrina's lips, he still felt annoyed seeing it.
"Am doing great, Vince. And how is your day going?" She asked smoothening his hair as he blushed,
"My day is going fine, am just a bit bored, there is no one to play with in this mansion," he paused "Wait you would soon be married to brother Lucian, would you give me a baby brother after your wedding to him," he said not realizing what he was saying as Sabrina's eyes went wide, while Lucian grinned at the embarrassed expression on Sabrina's face, who only stared stunned at the boy.
"I..... I don't know about that but for now I will play with you, I am bored also and would love to have fun with you,"
"Till the baby arrives?" He questioned and Sabrina looked stunned once again.
"Yeah," she simply said and they started playing with the swords, while Lucian just stood and stared at them, Vincent seemed very happy with her and Sabrina seemed happy too with the way she was smiling and giggling. Lucian stared at her face longer with a grin on the expression on his face, suddenly he stepped out and made his presence known,
"Brother Lucian!" Vivian exclaimed happy to see Lucian as he ran to hug him "I don't get to see you much anymore, brother Lucian," Sabrina only stood and watched them, she could see Lucian smiling stroking Vincent's hair the way she had done. When she noticed his eyes on her, she bowed.
"Greetings, my prince," she said frowning,
"How are you doing, Sabrina?" He asked. How can he ask such a question when he knew what he did to her last night.
"Am fine," she answered simply.
"Aunt Sabrina has hurt her lips and she is not feeling well," Vincent burst out.
"Vincent!" Sabrina exclaimed, wide eyed.
"Is that so, Sabrina?" Lucian grinned.
"You should take good care of Aunty Sab, brother, I don't like seeing her hurt,"
"Hmmm we would see what we can do about that," Lucian said patting his head.
"And please you both hurry up and get married and give me a little brother to play with," he said innocently and Sabrina gasp as her pale complexion reddened,
"Of course we will," Lucian turned to look at Sabrina who turned her gaze away from him, embarrased "Where do you think babies come from, dear brother?" Lucian asked,
"I don't know but mama told me that once a man and a woman get married their would be a baby soon but am starting to doubt if it was a lie," Vincent spoke with confusion on his feature.
"Why do you say that, Vince?" Sabrina was the one to ask,
"Because brother Lucian and Aunty Rosaline have been married for quite sometime now but their isn't a baby yet, is that why you are going to marry him now to give him a baby?"
This boy, Sabrina thought as she reddened further in embarrassment, while Lucian just stared at Vincent, he was so innocent.
"Excuse me, I have got to visit the powder room," Sabrina excused herself and left speechless,
"You like her?" Lucian asked Vincent once Sabrina had left,
"Yes, she is very nice and is my new best friend now, she is far more nicer than Aunty Rosaline and Selene is," Vincent had said innocently, and Lucian only smirked,
"You call her Sab?"
"Yeah and she calls me Vince, isn't that cute?"
"It is brother," Lucian smiled,
"Treat her right, alright brother? She even said she loves you,"
Lucian raised both his eye brows up, supprised,
"Did she?" Lucian asked again
"Yes, be good to her and please do tend to her lips," Vincent convinced "Oh gosh am hungry, I will see you later brother," Before he knew it the little boy had ran away, Lucian only grinned,
Sabrina sat in her room, with a book in her hand that she was reading, she had gone through alot in this few days in the castle, the husband she was about to marry is nothing but an handsome devil, she could never love someone like him, suddenly Sabrina felt a presence in her room, she got up from the sofa she was sitting on and turned but saw no body,
"Who is it?" There was only silence "Is that you again, your highness?" Still silence but she could hear whispers, she turned again but still no one, and she didn't hear the whispers anymore, must have been her imagination, she thought and got into bed after having her dinner in her own privacy, she slept,
Lucian who as always isn't able to sleep at night, stood in Sabrina's room corridor, he was walking past all corridors but came to an halt at Sabrina's corridor, but what he saw next supprised him, he saw Sabrina in a white nightgown come out of her room, not even bothering to close the door as she walked jerkily, Lucian wondered where she was heading to in the middle of the night, so he followed her, she continued walking jerkily down the stairs to the main hall, she went to the door opened it a little bit and went out, all the while Lucian followed her closely wanting to know where she was going to, he saw her move to the main gate, barefooted, the two guard were already dozing but when she got close to them, she just raised her hands to the guards and they just fell down, then she went to open the gate a little and walked out, Lucian saw all this and once confirmed that she wasn't ordinary, he walked to the guards and noticed they were still breathing and just asleep, he went out and continued following Sabrina who walked into the woods barefoot, tho she was stepping on twigs and it was hurting her but she didn't seem to feel affected and just continued walking, Lucian continued following her with his hands in his pockets, soon they approached the sea and Sabrina still didn't stop and continued walking, Lucian stop and watched her as she walked into the sea, still not stopping, few minutes passed and suddenly the water was swaying as Sabrina panicked, it was like she was drowning, Lucian teleported and he was in the water, he carried Sabrina in his arms, who seemed to be awake now, her hair was wet sticking to her face and so was Lucian's hair, so their were their bodies wet, Lucian walked out of the water, instead of walking back to the castle, he just teleported into Sabrina's room, who was shocked, as before they were at the sea side and suddenly they were in her room, Lucian gently carried her to sit on the bed, as she shivered and stared at his wet back retreating to her bathroom, he came back with a towel and first aid box in his hands, he went close to her, bent down in front of her, he was about to wipe her hair with the towel,
"I.... I can do that myself," Sabrina spoke softly, collecting the towel and gently drying her hair, Lucian stared at her and when she was done, she handed him the towel "You dry yourself too," she whispered and he collected the towel and dried his hair, then he picked up the first aid box, opened it, brought out a cotton wool and a bottle of green liquid, he poured a little of it on the wool and picked up Sabrina's ankle, who gasped,
"You should not be doing that, I-"
"Keep quiet," he spoke and she stopped talking instantly, he continued tending to her wound "Where were you going to?" He asked,
"I.... I didn't realize I was walking, the next thing I knew, I was inside the water and..." Her words trailed thinking if she was mistaking or not, which Lucian caught and raised his head,
"And?" He questioned and Sabrina stared at him as he did too,
"I thought I saw a woman in the water....." She paused "I don't know if it's just my imagination but she said something about me being Queen... No I don't recall anything," Sabrina spoke confused, while Lucian just stared at her,
"There is no need," he said softly and she turned to look at him,
"Do you know why I was in the water?" She asked innocently,
"You must have been craving for a cold bath," he grinned and watched her eyes widen and she blushed.
"Well thank you for coming to my rescue, if it wasn't for you, I would have drowned," she said and he just nodded and got up when he was done, he looked so good, Sabrina thought with his silver hair stuck to his forehead, he truly is a hunk
"You should go and change your clothe, if you don't want to get sick soon," he said with a smirk on his face and she got up suddenly realizing that she was still on the wet clothes, she stared into his eyes and he did same, Lucian noticed the change in the colour of her eyes, from green it turned white, he just stared at her and she did same, she moved close to him and stopped when she was a few inches away from him, she stopped, raised one of her hands and placed it on the side of his cheek, he was taller then she was so she had to crane her neck up to look into his eyes,
"I want you," she said softly in a husky voice "I want you to touch me, make love to me-" As if out of control she moved back as her eyes went back to normal, she gasped confused, strange things was happening to her this night, she was confused, she didn't say those things, she thought to herself,
"You want me?" He asked teasing her even tho knowing, she hadn't been in her right mind, Sabrina's eyes widen.
"No, I didn't mean to say that, oh God what's happening to me, why would I want you to touch me," she said disgusted in herself for saying such a thing,
"Get some sleep after you change your clothes, it must be because you are tired, that's why you are saying things," Lucian said not mentioning the change in the colour of her eyes earlier,
Sabrina only nodded, murmured thank you and watch Lucian step out of her room, How could she say something like that, he must thought she wanted him, which isn't true, she didn't even like him, but she was thankful to him for saving her life earlier, he could have left her to die but he didn't, she smiled.
