In the center of the room is a large, partially assembled device that matches the artifact's slot. Kai starts to understand its significance and its connection to the larger device.
Lena arrives at the old city and observes increased security around the Aurore Order's base. She retrieves a ball that, when activated, transforms into a cat. The cat distracts a guard long enough for Lena to sneak inside. She searches through various rooms and finds the chamber where the artifact is kept. To her surprise, she encounters Kai, who had also come to investigate.
A tense confrontation ensues as Lena draws her weapon, and Kai, recognizing the situation, prepares himself for a possible fight. They locate the central chamber where the Aurore Order's leaders are preparing the ritual. They disrupt the ritual, preventing the artifact from being fully integrated into the Order's plans.

They gather intelligence on the Aurore Order to help dismantle the organization's network and prevent future threats. Both characters part ways with mutual respect and a sense of accomplishment.
