'What... just happened?'

Russell lay flat on his back, sprawled across the ruined asphalt, staring blankly up at the gray sky. For a few agonizing seconds, his brain completely short-circuited. It straight-up refused to process reality.

'Did Captain America really just send me flying with a single punch?' The mere thought was laughably ridiculous. It was impossible.

Yet, the white-hot agony tearing through his entire body left absolutely zero room for denial. Every single muscle ached. Every bone screamed in protest. It felt as though an invisible giant had taken a massive sledgehammer to every square inch of his frame, systematically crushing and grinding him down from the inside out.

The worst part? The pain wasn't just localized to his chest, where the blow should have landed. It was everywhere. It pulsed through his arms, shattered his spine, and left his internal organs feeling like they had been thrown into a high-speed blender.

And that was exactly what terrified him the most. Because if Russell's memory served him right through the haze of pain... Captain America's fist had never actually made physical contact with him.

He was almost certain of it. There had been a clear pocket of air between them. No direct impact. No physical touch. Yet, somehow, the attack had still struck him with the force of an exploding meteor.

'How?' His mind raced, desperately searching for a logical explanation, but came up completely empty. Only one terrifying conclusion remained: the Steve Rogers standing before him was no longer just the old-school Captain America the world knew. He wasn't merely a super-soldier anymore. He was a Devil Fruit user. And judging by the sheer, ungodly force of that single strike, he was an extraordinarily dangerous one.

"What kind of fucking Devil Fruit did you eat?!" Russell growled, forcing his trembling body upright.

Chunks of broken asphalt and debris slid off his dark scales as he struggled to his feet. His reptilian eyes locked onto Steve, the desperate question bursting out of his mouth before he could even stop himself. Fear, confusion, and absolute disbelief bled into his voice, shattering his previous arrogant composure.

Russell had studied the public Devil Fruit catalog obsessively. He knew every documented entry, every mapped-out ability, and every confirmed user by heart. But nothing in those database records came close to resembling the madness he had just witnessed.

It was clearly a Paramecia-type power. But for a Paramecia to completely overwhelm the raw, physical might of an Ancient Zoan with such effortless ease? It felt completely absurd. It broke all the rules.

Steve didn't bother giving him an answer. Instead, he just kept walking forward, maintaining that same agonizingly measured, steady pace. He looked entirely unhurried, as if he were just taking a casual stroll through the park. A faint, knowing smile touched his lips.

"So," Steve said, casually resting his vibranium shield against his side as he stopped. "Are you ready to talk now?"

The casual confidence radiating off the Captain only pushed Russell over the edge. His scales twitched violently. His heavy claws dug deep into the shattered pavement, tearing up chunks of rock. Thick veins bulged like angry snakes beneath his skin.

"You think you've won?" Russel's voice dropped into a low, dangerous growl that vibrated through the air. "You think one lucky punch settles this?"

The surrounding street began to tremble under the sudden spike of his bloodlust. Russell's expression twisted into a furious, monstrous snarl.

"You have absolutely no fucking idea what a true Ancient Zoan is capable of!" A colossal surge of dark energy erupted from his body. This time, Russell stopped holding back completely.

His half-human hybrid form began to violently mutate. Muscles expanded exponentially, bones snapped and shifted into new positions, and his already massive frame grew larger and larger, rapidly swallowing up the street. The transformation accelerated with terrifying speed. The humanoid shape dissolved entirely. Human features vanished into a prehistoric nightmare.

In their place emerged something far more primal. Far more terrifying. A true apex predator from the dawn of time.

Towering over the shattered street, a gigantic, full-form Spinosaurus fully manifested right in the absolute heart of the Bronx. Its colossal, multi-ton body cast a massive, suffocating shadow across the surrounding brick buildings. Razor-sharp claws scraped against the asphalt with a sickening screech, and rows of dagger-like teeth gleamed inside a massive maw large enough to swallow a grown man whole. The enormous sail running along its spine seemed to cut through the very sky.

For a breathless moment, it looked less like a Devil Fruit user and more like a prehistoric monster that had successfully escaped extinction.

*ROOOOOOOAR!*

The sound was an absolute explosion of acoustic force. Storefront windows down the entire block violently rattled and shattered. Car alarms erupted in a chaotic, blaring symphony in every direction, and thick dust shook loose from the roofs of nearby structures.

The roar carried something deeply ancient within it, a primal, terrifying frequency honed over millions of years of evolution to inspire pure, unadulterated paralyzing fear. It was a sound meant to warn prey, dominate rivals, and announce the arrival of a god. Even from blocks away, ordinary citizens felt their hearts skip a violent beat.

Yet, standing directly in the jaw-dropping path of the gigantic dinosaur, Steve Rogers remained completely unbothered.

His expression never changed. His pulse never quickened. His grip on the leather straps of his shield didn't even tighten. If anything, the monstrous transformation only caused his eyes to sharpen with a cold, tactical focus.

Because, unlike Russell... Steve wasn't intimidated at all. He was simply evaluating. And what he saw standing before him wasn't an unstoppable monster.

It was just a significantly larger target.

"The guy... literally turned into a dinosaur." Trish's voice was barely a whisper, completely swallowed by the heavy, suffocating atmosphere settling over the street. She swallowed hard, her throat feeling bone-dry as she stared up at the towering Spinosaurus dominating the entire block.

The creature's mere presence felt like a physical weight pressing down on her chest, triggering every single primal survival instinct she had. For the first time since she'd gained her Cat–Cat Fruit, Model: Jungle Cat abilities, Trish felt painfully, glaringly aware of how small she actually was. Against a literal prehistoric apex predator, her transformed state wasn't even worth mentioning. What was a wildcat to a multi-ton dinosaur? At best, she'd be an annoying distraction. At worst, a chew toy.

*Swoosh!*

A dark silhouette cut through the smoke above, dropping out of the sky. Moments later, Clint landed lightly right beside Steve. The veteran archer tilted his head back, his eyes widening slightly as he took in the massive scale of the dinosaur looming over the battlefield.

His expression darkened instantly. Even just standing there, the creature radiated a terrifying aura. Every breath it took sounded like a low roll of distant thunder, and its massive muscles looked thick enough to crush an armored tank without breaking a sweat. Next to this walking extinction event, Clint's Falcon form suddenly felt very ordinary and very small.

"Cap," Clint muttered, his hand instinctively reaching into his quiver. He notched an arrow, pulling the bowstring taut until it vibrated against his cheek. His eyes never left the charging nightmare. "Tell me you've got a solid plan for dealing with the escaped Jurassic Park exhibit."

Steve didn't even blink. He kept his gaze locked onto Russell's monstrous form. "Relax, Clint. I've got this." The answer came smoothly, without a single trace of hesitation or doubt.

A few weeks ago, those words would have made Clint sweat. Back then, Steve matching a monster like this head-on would have required a literal miracle. But the world had changed. Suddenly, a vivid image flashed through Clint's mind, the memory of what happened back at the Hudson River. A single, casual punch from Steve. A towering, cataclysmic wall of water tearing through the sky. A raw force of nature unleashed with terrifying ease.

Compared to that mind-blowing display of power, a giant dinosaur suddenly didn't seem nearly as scary. The tense knot in Clint's shoulders slowly unraveled. He let out a breath he didn't realize he'd been holding and gradually lowered his bow.

"Right," a smirk tugged at the corner of Clint's mouth. "Almost forgot who I'm talking to."

Meanwhile…

*RUMBLE! RUMBLE! RUMBLE!*

Pure, unadulterated fury drove the Ancient Zoan forward. The enormous Spinosaurus thundered down the asphalt like a runaway freight train with no brakes. Every colossal step sent a violent tremor through the earth. Storefront windows rattled in their frames, loose debris bounced wildly across the pavement, and massive cracks webbed outward beneath his feet with every heavy strike. The raw momentum behind the beast was terrifying. It didn't even look like an animal anymore; it looked like a localized natural disaster. A living, breathing avalanche of muscle, heavy scales, and prehistoric violence.

Behind the defensive perimeter, the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents watched the horror unfold in absolute, dead silence. Nobody spoke. Nobody dared to blink. Several agents unconsciously gripped their assault rifles so tightly their knuckles turned white. Others nervously wiped sweaty palms against their uniforms. Even hidden behind heavy armored vehicles and reinforced steel barricades, they could feel the ground shaking violently beneath their boots.

A single, terrifying question echoed through every agent's mind: 'Can Captain America actually stop that thing?'

The suspense was suffocating. And then, every eye shifted back to Steve Rogers.

The lone man standing at the dead center of the street, directly in the crosshairs of the charging apex predator. Yet, Steve remained completely, eerily calm. His breathing was smooth and steady. His expression didn't even flicker. Holding his vibranium shield comfortably in one hand, he took a step forward. Then another. Unhurried. Unbothered.

The contrast was absolutely unreal.

On one side, you had a colossal prehistoric monster, roaring with enough acoustic force to shatter brick buildings. On the other hand, a single man in a star-spangled uniform walking forward alone. No giant transformation. No terrifying mutation. No flashy, dramatic display of power. Just Captain America, and he was stepping straight into the path of the monster as if the script had already been written and the ending was already decided. And somehow... that quiet, absolute confidence was infinitely more terrifying than the dinosaur.

The distance between them vanished in a fraction of a second.

One moment, Russell was thundering down the street like a prehistoric natural disaster. Next, his massive, shadow-casting frame was looming directly over Steve.

*ROOOOAR!*

The Spinosaurus unleashed a deafening, chest-rattling roar that echoed down the entire block. And then, he struck.

His massive, scaly forelimb swung high into the air before crashing downward with absolute, terrifying force. The sheer velocity of the attack packed enough raw power to punch straight through reinforced concrete or reduce a military bunker into a pile of rubble.

Facing down the descending claw of doom, Steve didn't panic. He did exactly two things: He planted his boots firmly onto the ground, and he punched.

There was no dramatic wind-up. No flashy anime technique. It was just a single, direct, textbook punch thrown straight into the empty air.

*CRACK!*

The air literally shattered.

It looked as though an invisible pane of thick glass had suddenly broken right in front of Steve's fist. Jagged, spiderwebbing fractures violently rippled outward through the air.

Then came the real nightmare: the shockwave.

*BOOOOOM!*

A devastating, apocalyptic burst of vibrational force exploded forward.

Russell's deadly claw never actually reached its target. In fact, it never even touched a single thread of Steve's uniform. The exact millisecond that the invisible shockwave made contact, the gigantic dinosaur felt as though he had been struck head-on by a bolt of divine judgment.

A force completely beyond his comprehension slammed into his chest. The massive, four-ton apex predator was instantly ripped off the ground. Russel was lifted and thrown, sent hurtling backward through the air like a piece of paper in a hurricane.

The colossal Spinosaurus flew for over fifteen meters, completely airborne, before crashing violently back into the street.

*CRASH!*

The hard asphalt shattered instantly beneath his weight. Massive chunks of pavement erupted skyward like a geyser, and a deep, smoking crater formed right where he landed. For several long seconds, absolutely nobody spoke. The entire scene was just too absurd to process.

A lone human stood calmly in the middle of a ruined street, his breathing perfectly steady and his posture completely relaxed. Meanwhile, a towering prehistoric monster had just been launched through the air like a kicked football. The sheer difference in scale made the whole thing feel totally unreal.

"Impossible..." Russell's voice trembled, leaking pure panic. He lay flat on his back at the center of the smoking crater, staring blankly up at the sky. His thoughts were spinning into absolute chaos. 'I transformed completely. I used my full, maxed-out Ancient Zoan form. How the hell can I still lose in a single hit?!'

Ancient Zoans were supposed to represent the absolute pinnacle of physical power in this world. That was their ultimate advantage, their unmatched strength, their monstrous durability, and their nearly endless vitality. 'So why? Why did none of it matter right now!?'

Russell desperately tried to force his body to stand. His muscles strained. Nothing happened. His heavy claws twitched against the rubble. Nothing happened. His legs completely refused to respond.

Real panic flooded his chest. See, the true horror of Steve's new power wasn't actually visible from the outside. The Tremor-Tremor Fruit didn't just hit hard; it completely bypassed defenses.

The violent vibrations generated by Steve's fist had traveled directly through Russell's body. They didn't care about his thick scales. They ignored his heavy muscles. They vibrated right through his dense bones, traveling deep into his internal organs and his central nervous system.

The damage wasn't just superficial skin bruising; it was entirely internal. Steve's strike had effectively scrambled the electrical signals traveling through his body, putting his nervous system into complete and total disarray. No matter how desperately his brain screamed at his limbs to move, his body simply wouldn't obey.

Then, he heard it again.

*CRACK!*

Russell's reptilian eyes widened in sheer terror. Several meters away, Steve casually threw another punch into the air. The attack wasn't even aimed directly at him, yet the atmosphere shattered once more. A fresh, devastating shockwave surged forward.

*BOOM!*

The invisible impact slammed heavily into Russell's pinned body. His massive head snapped backward, and the very last bit of his remaining resistance vanished into thin air.

*THUD!*

His enormous Spinosaurus form finally collapsed onto the ruined street. This time, there was no struggle. No angry roar. No desperate attempt to rise.

Almost immediately, the giant prehistoric body began to shrink. The dark scales receded back into his skin, and his massive muscles contracted. Within seconds, the monstrous dinosaur completely disappeared, revealing Russell's unconscious, battered human form sprawled out across the broken asphalt.

Steve lowered his fist, exhaling a calm breath as he glanced back toward the S.H.I.E.L.D. perimeter. "Alright, Maya," his voice was as casual as if he had just finished a routine morning jog. "You're up."

Maya didn't need to be told twice. She hurried into the smoking containment zone and immediately activated the bizarre power of her Wash-Wash Fruit. A soft, clean glow spread across Russell's unconscious body, and the strange transformation began at once.

His human body began to soften, flatten, and fold. Within a matter of moments, the terrifying former Ancient Zoan user looked less like a dangerous criminal and more like an elaborate piece of human-shaped origami.

Maya carefully rolled him up into a compact, neat little bundle before placing him safely inside a specially designed containment briefcase.

*Click!*

The heavy locks snapped shut.

Mission complete.

Steve slung his vibranium shield across his back and took one final look around the battlefield. He noted the shattered street, the destroyed storefronts, and the massive crater left behind by Russell's final landing.

Honestly? Not bad. Considering the terrifying, city-level destruction the Tremor-Tremor Fruit was actually capable of, the collateral damage here was incredibly minimal. Steve had controlled the output perfectly.

"Good work, everyone," Steve said, turning on his heel. "Let's head home."

The team immediately fell into formation right behind him.

As they walked away from the ruined street, the watching S.H.I.E.L.D. agents finally let out the heavy breaths they had been holding. Every single one of them had just witnessed an unbelievable, history-making truth.

An Ancient Zoan, one of the most physically dominant, unstoppable Devil Fruits in existence, had been completely erased. Not by a high-tech army, not by heavy artillery, and not by some complex tactical strategy.

Just by Captain America, and three total punches.
