"I... I... choose to leave my god," Patriarch Elliot said after a moment of contemplation.
His voice sounded hesitant but also carried resignation.
Aldrian smiled hearing that.
"Good choice, Patriarch. So why not start immediately implementing this decision within your family? The sooner, the better. It will quickly solve your family's problem, and I will not come disturb you anymore. You could start by closing your family's doors and entering a long period of family seclusion."
Patriarch Elliot felt reluctance, but after three seconds of hesitation, he nodded. He simply felt compelled to agree with Aldrian's suggestion without saying anything else. Although he found it strange, he still felt that following what his logic and common sense considered the best course of action was the right thing to do.
