"Don't touch me!" Murong said with disgust as she shook off Luo Kun. "What era are we in that you still believe in something like an engagement? Besides, I've never acknowledged it."
Luo Kun wasn't at all angered by Murong's disgust. He kept a cheeky grin on his face and said, "I don't like engagements either, but I'll work hard to make you fall in love with me and willingly marry me."
"Heh. Sorry to disappoint you, but I already have a boyfriend," Murong shrugged and turned to walk away.
Luo Kun was startled, then chased after her with the same cheeky grin. "Even if you want to get rid of me, you could at least find a better excuse. The 'I have a boyfriend' trick is too cliché."
Murong was about to retort when she suddenly saw Ye Xiu approaching. "See? My boyfriend is here," she said.
With that, she bounced over and threw herself into Ye Xiu's arms, cooing, "Darling, what took you so long? I've been waiting for ages!"
