Ye Qiu and Liu Daqing were chatting, while Liu Lingxiu was preparing to go to the market to buy ingredients for dinner, when Ye Qiu's phone rang.
He took it out and saw it was a call from Cao Ling.
"Miss Cao, what's up?"
"Ye Qiu, where are you? I need to see you for something important."
Cao Ling's voice sounded urgent.
Could it be that someone around Cao Ling was feeling unwell again? He asked, "Is someone feeling unwell?"
"No, it's something related to you."
"Miss, I haven't had dinner yet."
"My uncle has already prepared something here. Just drive over."
Ye Qiu found it a bit baffling but decided to go and take a look.
After hanging up the phone, he looked at Liu Daqing and Liu Lingxiu and said, "Uncle, Auntie, Lingshow, I have something to attend to, so I'll be leaving first. You can make dinner yourselves."
Ye Qiu headed back to Peach Blossom Spring Villa, got in his Land Rover, and drove towards the Military Region.
