The secretary, Lin, was sent by the attending doctor and the nurse for a full-body examination. By lunchtime, apart from test results for blood, urine, and the like that hadn't arrived, the other reports were ready.
There was only one conclusion from the examination report: Secretary Lin had fully recovered, and his limbs, which appeared to be the most severely affected, were completely healthy.
"Mr. Lin, according to the test results, your body is perfectly fine now. However, Dr. Ye instructed before leaving that you should rest for two more days. Are you planning to continue resting in the hospital?"
The attending doctor asked.
"I still want to go home to rest."
Now more awake than ever, Secretary Lin recalled the events of yesterday, increasingly filled with fear.
After all, being a highly educated person who always believed in science, he couldn't bring himself to believe what he had personally experienced yesterday.
"You can go home to rest, if you prefer."
