Ye Qiu and Zhao Ruxue chased for quite a distance. Looking ahead, they saw no sign of anyone, but Ye Qiu felt the fugitives were lurking nearby.
The surrounding vegetation was taller than a person's head, making movement extremely difficult.
"They might be close by,"
Ye Qiu whispered.
Right now, the fugitives stayed still, and Ye Qiu didn't move either.
After all, those guys were armed with automatic rifles. Charging in recklessly would only earn oneself a burst of gunfire, turning them into a sieve!
Not being able to see them at the moment, Ye Qiu couldn't deploy the virus which would make them suffer. So, all he could do was wait.
"What do we do?"
Zhao Ruxue whispered, panting.
"Wait for the prey to come to us!"
Ye Qiu knew the ones truly filled with fear were the fugitives. As long as the police managed to seal off the mountain and they couldn't escape in time, they'd still be caught.
