Wu Tian followed Xiao Tianzan to Baiyun Mountain, taking the route that passed the Wang Family's estate, just as Wu Tian had requested.
"See that?" Xiao Tianzan said from the driver's seat of the Accord, motioning to Wu Tian in the back. "Look out the left window. The tallest high-rise—that's the Wang Family's."
Wu Tian nodded and suddenly lowered the window to gaze at the towering building. He stared for a long time, not looking away until it was completely out of sight. Only then did he raise the window again.
What was that all about? Xiao Tianzan wondered. He didn't have time to dwell on it, however, and simply drove the Accord up to Xiao Liang's villa on Baiyun Mountain.
As soon as they stepped out of the car, a crisp, pleasant voice called from behind them. "Uncle Xiao, you're finally here."
Wu Tian turned to see Guli Weileng, the woman from the airport. Today, she wore a white gauze dress that gave her an elegant, mesmerizing grace with every movement.
