Su Chen was startled by Ouyang Jing's words:
"Do you know who they are? How many?"
"Not sure about the specifics, but I felt they were quite powerful, so I pretended not to notice and came back."
Ouyang Jing said.
"Alright, I'll go meet them. I'd like to see who has a death wish!"
Su Chen's eyes flashed intensely as he spoke.
"I'll go down with you to check it out."
Ouyang Jing said somewhat uneasily over the phone.
"No need, Ouyang. Standard procedure, just keep an eye on the manor. If someone sneaks in, let me know immediately!"
Su Chen pondered for a moment before saying.
"Okay then, I sense they're not friendly, so be careful."
Ouyang Jing agreed without much fuss.
After hanging up, Su Chen walked out the gate and headed down the mountain.
"Since you've come, there's no need to hide. Come out!"
Standing at the foot of the mountain, Su Chen said casually.
As soon as he finished speaking, two people emerged from the foliage on either side of the road!
