Walking on the mountain path, Ye Qing just realized that the speed of these half-grown children was actually quite agile. Don't be deceived by their not-so-large stature, their pace in this mountain forest was not slow at all.
Along the way, these children were exceedingly excited and curious, after all, they had never stepped out of that Cave before, and were completely unaware of what was outside. Being able to walk out here, perhaps fulfilled the common wish of countless generations who were born and died in darkness. Being the generation that could step outside, they were indeed the luckiest.
Moreover, inside the Cave, food was extremely scarce for these children, who had a huge appetite. So, following Ye Qing and the others through the forest, the children mainly focused on finding various edible things along the way.
Pine tree, eat!
Cypress tree, eat!
Shrub leaves, eat!
Various grasses, eat!
