"I have a plan to deal with the pursuers behind us, but I need your cooperation," Lin Chen said calmly to Nangong Xue standing in front of him.
Nangong Xue didn't really believe Lin Chen had a way to deal with those people behind them, especially since his cultivation had been completely depleted.
One could say he was a cripple.
However, Nangong Xue also understood that they were in the same boat; if they acted together, there was only one road—death.
"Alright, tell me, what's your plan?"
Lin Chen leaned toward Nangong Xue's ear and whispered a few words, after which she nodded firmly.
The Venerables of the Five Elements were still at their peak strength, so their speed was undoubtedly much faster than that of the two heavily injured individuals ahead.
Not long after, the Venerables of the Five Elements caught up to the few people ahead.
Suddenly, they found Nangong Xue standing stationary, seriously injured, while Lin Chen lay dead on the ground.
