Lin Chen was filled with astonishment; he had just exerted all his strength, believing he could gain the upper hand, yet who could have foreseen such terrifying speed from his opponent, disappearing in an instant.
Lin Chen felt the air around him gradually solidifying, turning cold; a suffocating pressure like a mountain overwhelming the sea came upon him, leaving him unable to resist, despite his own formidable strength.
With a firm grip on his longsword, Lin Chen concentrated all his might into his right hand, trying to locate the elder's traces in the air.
But no matter how he searched, the elder was nowhere to be seen, as if vanished into thin air, leaving no clue of his whereabouts.
At that moment, Lin Chen felt his body enveloped by a gathering white light.
Within him, two forces continuously collided, and he could sense the demon's consciousness gradually dissipating as it surged rapidly within.
