If it were any other day, Liang Xiaohan would definitely not be out again after dinner so late. First, she's not used to familiarizing herself with unfamiliar environments and wandering around, and second, she's quite a homebody; going out for a walk so late is not her preference, so she usually stays home to watch TV or goes straight to her room to play with her phone after dinner.
But today, to create an opportunity for her cousin to spend time alone with Hao Jian—after all, they hadn't seen each other for over a month and must have a lot to say, some things that are hard to say in her presence—she didn't want to be the third wheel and thus found an excuse to go out. She strolled around the community, zigzagging and stopping intermittently for about an hour and a half, checked the time, and saw it was almost ten o'clock. Thinking they must have finished talking by now, she prepared to head back.
