The pale blue seawater surged with waves, dazzling in the sunlight, but in one corner of this vast ocean, it wasn't pale blue; instead, it was filled with blood.
An indescribable crimson stained this part of the sea, with belly-up Man-Eating Sharks floating on the surface, long dead.
Perhaps soon, they'll be picked clean by some scavenging fish! Just as they once hunted their prey as food, now they have become food for others.
"Splash..."
Two nautical miles away from that crimson sea, a figure as fluid as a fish leaped up and down in the water. With a twist, it shot over ten meters forward. Even facing small waves, this seemingly feeble figure did not falter, instead conquering the tiny waves before continuing on.
If you look closely, you'd notice that wherever this figure swam, it left a faint red trail that faded with distance.
These faint red traces were blood. As to whose blood, you'd have to ask the one leaving the trail.
