Eisenberg cautiously glanced at the pondering Hao Jian, swallowed, and asked a question.
He desperately wanted to leave; with this man here, the atmosphere was unbearably oppressive, making him feel like his life was not his own.

The pondering Hao Jian was interrupted by Eisenberg's intention, snapped back to reality, and upon hearing his words, a perplexing smile appeared on his face.

Eisenberg was rendered speechless by Hao Jian's smile, unsure of what to say. The man had said that as long as his response was detailed enough to satisfy him, he could leave.
He had just complied with this man's request, divulging everything he knew, and the man had smiled, so he probably wouldn't kill him, right?
Thinking so, Eisenberg intended to take steps to leave; after all, the man smiled, which meant he agreed...
