Hao Jian stood calmly, gently dusting off his hands, while thirty men lay groaning and howling at his feet. This bizarre scene did not seem out of place at all.
"I already told you not to mess with me, but you insisted on coming to seek death."
His tone was flat, without any fluctuation. Hao Jian cast a cold glance at Zhang Dahai and Brother Mouse; if it weren't for these two instigators, he wouldn't have had to start fighting as soon as he stepped out.
"Oh well, let's just consider it an appetizer before the hunt!"
He shrugged his shoulders, ignored them, and walked over in a light and swift manner to Lin Qingxue, reaching out to take his compound bow.
"It's settled, let's go!"
Holding the compound bow, Hao Jian chuckled lightly. Under Lin Qingxue's nod, he led her along the mountain path, into the small mountain.
